Fresh-Cut Christmas Trees and Handmade Wreaths
Finding the right Christmas tree sets the tone for your holiday, and we’re here to help you make it a memorable one. Our fresh-cut Fraser fir trees are sourced from our family partner, Chestnut Hill Tree Farm in Ashe County, NC. Known for their lovely scent, sturdy branches, and unbeatable durability, they’re a dream for hanging ornaments.
We make selecting your tree hassle-free with tree trimming, netting, and loading services—all included. Plus, our handmade garlands and wreaths add that extra special touch to your holiday home. Looking for something unique? Stroll through our collection of greenery and choose the pieces that speak to your aesthetic.
Our tree lot is open daily from 9 AM to 9 PM. We’re even open on Thanksgiving! Stop by to kick off your holiday season right.
Wagon Rides to the Petting Barn
One of the most magical parts of visiting The Hunter Farm is the chance to ride our festive wagons. Gather your loved ones for a scenic ride that leads straight to the heart of the farm—our petting barn. Here, kids can drop letters to Santa into our magic mailbox, meet an array of friendly farm animals, and see Santa’s sleigh.
This is also the perfect backdrop for snapping family holiday photos under twinkling barn lights. To make sure you don’t miss out, we strongly recommend reserving your wagon ride in advance. While we welcome walk-ins, they are limited, so reservations guarantee the full experience.
Also, note that wagon rides are not available on Thanksgiving Day, but we’re open every other day of our holiday season!
Meet Santa at the Petting Barn
Santa Claus is coming to town, and he’s visiting The Hunter Farm!
From December 7th through December 15th, you’ll find Santa greeting families at the Petting Barn. What makes this experience extra special? Our Santa visits feel personal—where else can your little ones meet Santa, interact with real farm animals, and deliver their wishlist firsthand?
Santa’s schedule is packed with holiday cheer from 2 PM to 8 PM on select dates, so don’t miss your chance to join in the fun before he heads back to the North Pole.
Live Nativity Special Event
We’re thrilled to announce the return of our third annual “Live Nativity Special Event—A Journey to Bethlehem.” This meaningful celebration brings the story of Christmas to life with live animals, beautiful narration, and moments that remind us of the true reason for the season.
Admission is free, but reservations are required to make sure everyone gets the best experience. Donations such as children’s clothing, diapers, and women’s clothing are requested; they’ll go directly to benefit Turning Point of Monroe.
This is more than an event—it’s a chance for the Charlotte community to come together and celebrate the season with joy and purpose.
